The name Dara is derived from the Irish word "Doire", meaning Oak Tree.
For centuries, the oak has symbolised strength, endurance, wisdom and protection. In Celtic tradition, the Dara Knot represented the deep roots and resilience of the mighty oak, reminding people that even during life's most difficult times, strength can be found to move forward.
